12^th Australian National N Scale Convention

Thursday 12th - Sunday 15 May, 2011.

Venue

The Sunnybrook Hotel and Convention Centre on the Hume Highway at Warwick Farm has been chosen as the venue for our convention.

The centre is set amongst 8 acres of landscaped gardens, approx. 45 minutes from Sydney’s International and Domestic Airports.

With Liverpool, Parramatta and Bankstown business and shopping centres nearby, and easy access to the city centre, the venue is ideally placed for those wishing to plan a longer stay. 

We are negotiating special rates for single, twin, triple share and quad share rooms.

Programme

The three days of formal programme will include the following activities:

And intermingled with all of this, there will be the opportunity to meet up with old friends and to begin new friendships with other members of the N Scale modelling community.

Partners Programme

The committee is keen to provide the sort of activities that partners really like. So at this stage there are no hard and fast plans, but the committee is putting together a list of ideas for partners to participate in, or do their own thing. This list will include organised trips around Sydney, a ferry trip on the most beautiful harbour in the world, shopping trips to the markets and warehouses, and a list of other places of interest that you may wish to organise to visit at your leisure.
